Learning Support Assistant

Tempest Education are seeking hard working and dedicated Learning support assistants to work at one of our partner Primary schools in Peckham.

The role:

• Monday - Friday
• 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
• ASAP start
• £87 - £105 daily rate

• Work closely with teachers to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support, adapting learning materials to meet individual needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with personal care, where necessary.
• Help students develop independence, confidence, and social skills.
• Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and other learning strategies.

• Experience working with children with SEN.
• A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.
• Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support (desirable).
