Zest is currently seeking dedicated SEN learning support assistants to join a school in Aldridge, Walsall. This opportunity is available on both a full-time and part-time basis starting in November running through the end of the academic year. The school specializes in providing support to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, communication challenges, complex needs, and behavioural difficulties.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Prior experience working as a SEND teaching assistant, with a focus on supporting ASC students
- A deep commitment to improving the well-being and educational outcomes of students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Demonstrated patience and flexibility in responding to the individual learning styles and preferences of each student
- A compassionate and nurturing approach to supporting students in their academic and personal growth
