We are excited to be adding to our team here at Tamworth Enterprise College, we are seeking 2 new Learning Support Assistants on a fixed term basis. This a great opportunity for an experienced learning support assistant or teaching assistant to come and join our creative, warm and dynamic school.

Your contribution will ensure smooth delivery of; an excellent education to every child, in every classroom, every day.You're someone who'll be able to:

• Engage and enthuse students.
• Support students so that they can; access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement.

You're someone who has:

• A Level 2/3 qualification in Teaching Assisting.
• Understanding of a range of pupil's learning needs, including SEN needs.
• The skills to help students to develop independent learning skills.
• Ability to deliver individual and small group targeted interventions.
• This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people.

• At Tamworth Enterprise College we are on an exciting journey to make our students and staff as happy and successful as possible.
• We have shaped our school day at TEC to enable all staff to access CPD over 3 non-contact mornings per week, our curriculum and assessment are designed to ensure that staff have a good work/life balance with the school day being 8.20am-3.20pm and not beyond. We have even built enrichment for all students into the school day so that everyone can access the 26 clubs that we offer.
• As part of our continued commitment to professional development, this role also offers the opportunity for anybody who does not currently hold a Teaching Assistant qualification to complete their level 3 'Initial Teaching Assistant Training'.

The role is due to commence Jan 2025 This is a fixed term position.
