We are looking for a dedicated and experienced learning support specialist who are well-versed in handling the children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and learning disabilities etc.

Position: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Plymouth

Pay Rate: £90-95 per day

Job Type: Full time, Long term /Part time

Start Date: Immediate (We even have bookings available for April & September)

Ideal Candidate:

  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Minimum 6 months of SEN teaching or childcare experience
  • Able to provide 2 professional references with clean records
  • Excellent communication skills and behaviour management.
  • Willingness to provide additional and individual support when required
  • Driving on your own is an added advantage.

Key Contributions:

  • Provide personalised support to the needy children
  • Assist the teacher by maintaining calm and positive classroom environment
  • Adapt your learning support according to the behaviour of the children.
  • Monitor and report the performance and progress of the children to the parents, teachers and the staff.
  • Follow school's behaviour and safeguarding policies.
