This school is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a long-term contract with the view of going permanent after a period of probation.

** £83 - £110 per day (depending on experience and responsibility)

** Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 16:00 pm

** Hands-on & Supportive SLT

** Ongoing training & CPD courses available

** Colchester, Essex

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and assistance to students with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
• Build strong relationships with students and gain their trust
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to implement individualised support plans
• Assist in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
• Encourage students to engage with their learning and develop essential skills

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
• Ability to build rapport with students and establish positive relationships
• Patience, empathy, and resilience in supporting students with diverse needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to promoting inclusion and fostering student well-being
