Lecturer in Vocational Access

- Salary: £22-28 per hour including holiday pay

A college in Aberdare is seeking a Lecturer in Vocational Access to cover the Entry Level 3 Construction course. This temporary position involves working with learners who have behavioural needs. The role is full-time and will be based at the Aberdare and Rhondda campuses. No prior construction knowledge is required.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver educational content related to the Entry Level 3 Construction course.
- Engage and support learners with behavioural needs, ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of students and provide feedback to help them achieve their educational goals.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to enhance teaching materials and methods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) as an FE Teacher.
- A recognised Teaching Qualification.
- Proven experience working with students who have behavioural needs.
