Their people focused culture offers a great working environment with a supportive approach.If successful, you will perform the following role as a Legal Administrative Assistant Providing administrative support to the Local Authority Team Ensuring that the Test letter is sent and responded to in all circumstances Ensuring Client Care letters are produced and sent out in a timely manner Acknowledging fee earning instructions/directions and acting accordingly Managing Fee Earner diaries Liaising with Finance to make travel arrangements where required Maintain client files, ensuring they are up to date, including (but not limited to) the correct NOIs and NOAs and legal aid certs Filing documents to client files, dealing with closed files and maintaining the firm's closed file records. Transfer files to Billing once closing file checklist is completed Filing, copying, scanning documents where required Managing all incoming correspondence including email (Outlook/CCMS/EGRESS) and telephone calls Compliance with the firm's policies and procedures e.g. Health & Safety, Data Protection Ensuring that all work carried out meets or exceeds the requirements of the LAA's Standard Contract, the SRA Code of Conduct and meets Quality Mark standards Recording all work carried out accurately and appropriately on the firm's computerised time recording, Case Management System, Compliance Caddy and HR system Completing weekly reports for Local Authority reporting accurately and in a timely manner Participating in the Reception rota and general office admin activities when required Other Administrations duties deemed necessary to support the needs of the businessTo apply, you will be required to meet the following criteria:Strong IT skillsLegal experience Strong communication skillsHow to apply:If this vacancy is of interest, please click the apply button.
