This permanent position is offered as a full-time role with part-time working four days a week could also be considered. Role Responsibilities

As a Legal Assistant in the commercial property department, you will play a key role in supporting the team by:

• Assisting fee earners with their caseload of commercial property matters
• Carrying out AML checks
• Completing basic Land Registry forms and SDLT returns
• Liaising with clients and third parties via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions
• Drafting correspondence and legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail
• Managing paper and digital files, ensuring all records are up-to-date
• Handling general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and post-handling

About You

You will be a Legal Assistant with experience working in a property department, dealing with commercial or residential conveyancing. If you have experience in residential property you will be provided with comprehensive training in the nuances of commercial property matters by the team you will be working with.

To be successful for this role you will be able to confidently demonstrate the following:

• Experience in a legal setting, within residential or commercial property
• Ability to complete basic Land Registry forms, SDLT returns and AML checks
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
• Strong communication skills, delivering a professional and client-focused service
• Keen attention to detail with proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
• Proactive and collaborative mindset, committed to delivering excellence
