Legal Cashier - South West TSR Legal are proud to be working with a well-established law firm who now have a brand-new opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join their Weston-super-Mare offices on a permanent basis. The firm are succession planning and there are excellent routes to grow and develop with the firm. You will report to the Finance Manager and will cover all areas of law for the firm. Your role will involve:

• Raising client invoices / fee earner billing meetings
• Assist with Daily bank reconciliations
• Develop knowledge of VAT regulations
• Posting Client & office account transactions to the firms Practice Management System
• Process bank payments (BACS & CHAPS) and transfers between accounts
• Payment of professional disbursements in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Purchase ledger- posting of invoices and payments in line with terms
• Assisting with month end processes
• Liaising with fee earners & support staff
• Ad-hoc duties as required

About you:This is a busy role requiring a proactive individual who will demonstrate a positive approach to work whilst maintaining a resilience and focus under pressure. A team player you will possess the ability to pay attention to detail and have excellent organisational and strong communication skills. Ideally you will be an experienced Legal Cashier with full working knowledge of the Solicitors' Accounts Rules, however those who have financial administration experience who are keen to work in a new industry are encouraged.
