An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Legal Cashier to join our client’s professional finance team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions and maintaining strict compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules (SARs). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys working to deadlines while engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process transactions, ensuring timely completions while adhering to SARs.
- Manage receipts, billing, invoicing, and payments to clients, lenders, and third parties.
- Act as a primary point of contact for operational teams, assisting in resolving residual balance issues.
- Process purchase invoices and ensure adherence to payment terms.
- Support the Lead Cashier and Management Accountant with month-end tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a finance, accounts, or transactional role.
- Demonstrated understanding of payments, receipts, and ledger accounting.
- Previous experience in legal finance is desired.
- Qualification in accounting or bookkeeping is desired.
