Legal Cashier - RG Consultancy Ltd : Job Details

RG Consultancy are recruiting for a Legal Cashier for a well-established firm of solicitors in Leigh. You will join a small team in the finance department and report back to the Head of Finance. Salary will reflect the level of experience along with the following benefits.

The Role

• Purchase ledger, purchase invoices, reference to purchase orders and delivery notes
• Processing and recording all financial transactions in line with SARs
• Logging banking and issuing cheques, bank transfers
• Petty cash management
• Record incoming and outgoing invoices
• Work in accordance to VAT legislation
• Assist with annual audit preparations
• Assist with credit control duties when needed
• VAT Returns

The Person

• AAT qualified or working towards is an advantage
• Previous experience with the legal sector would be preferred
• Experience working within an accounts/financial office is essential
• IT proficient, especially in MS Excel
