Legal Cashier – Based in either Derby or Nottingham£25,000 - £40,000, Dependent on ExperienceSome Hybrid WorkingAre you an experienced Legal Cashier looking to join a growing, forward-thinking law firm that values your expertise?We are working with an expanding law firm looking to recruit a Legal Cashier who can be based in either their Derby or Nottingham office, whichever is more convenient for you.Following a recent acquisition, they are experiencing significant growth and are seeking a skilled Legal Cashier to join their team. This role offers a varied workload, the chance to be part of an exciting growth journey, and some flexibility with hybrid working.About the Company:Our client recently acquired a new firm Law which has contributed significantly to their rapid expansion. The firm is thriving, with a busy caseload and an ambitious vision for continued growth.The Role:As a Legal Cashier, you’ll take on a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Managing deposit accounts
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Allocating payments
• Processing cheques and BACs payments
• Handling billings
• Managing the purchase ledger

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Legal Cashier within the legal sector
• Strong understanding of legal accounting procedures and regulations
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience with Leap and XERO is desirable but not essential
