TECHNOLOGY & IP LEGAL COUNSELTECH & AI BUSINESS c. 3-8 YEARS' PQECENTRAL LONDON HYBRIDOur client is a global tech & AI business whose award-winning software and tech products are used in the creative industries, media and entertainment. THE ROLEWe are looking for a talented and motivated IT/IP lawyer to join the Legal & Compliance team, reporting to the General Counsel. The remit will include technology asset licensing (IT & IP), customer sales negotiations, IT operations, data protection governance, intellectual property and a variety of bespoke commercial transactions (eg T&Cs, supplier agreements, inbound and outbound software licences etc) as well as AI and ESG.The successful candidate will be able to spot issues on a wide array of commercial matters, and will be comfortable working directly with the business (eg. R&D, Finance, Sales), suppliers and customers.This is a dynamic, supportive and collegiate environment, with a sociable and enjoyable team culture, working from the central London offices twice per week. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEYou will be a talented technology lawyer (IP/IT) with c. 3-8 years' PQE and strong experience in software (development and licensing)  This should include commercial contracts deals and/or licensing agreements. Some data protection experience and in-house experience (perhaps in the form of a secondment) will be helpful, but is not a pre-requisite. You must be qualified in E&W.We are looking for bright, ambitious yet humble self- starters with the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about technology & AI.
