Legal Executive (Private Client Department)

We are looking for a dedicated Legal Executive to provide high-quality legal services within our Private Client Department. The ideal candidate will be adept at offering accurate legal advice, managing a variety of legal matters, and nurturing strong client relationships. This role is integral to our firm, requiring a hands-on approach to private client work and the ability to assist other departments as necessary.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver professional legal services in line with the firm’s standards and professional guidelines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and professionals to foster referrals and promote the growth of the practice.
- Achieve targets for fee earning and time recording.
- Provide clients with legal advice, inform them of associated costs, and draft appropriate documents.
- Conduct legal research and attend court proceedings when required.
- Maintain organized client files and manage correspondence promptly.
- Contribute to training initiatives, administrative tasks, and other duties as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in private client work is preferred, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
- CILEx membership or a valid practicing certificate is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and research skills are essential.
- A commitment to upholding professionalism, confidentiality, and a dedication to self-development.
- The ability to work in Petersfield and commute/relocate if necessary.
