Key Responsibilities
- Assist conveyancers with all aspects of residential property transactions.
- Prepare and manage legal documents, including contracts, forms, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and paper based.
- Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction.
- Conduct property searches and manage deadlines to ensure timely completions.
- Handle client enquiries and provide updates on the progress of transactions.
- Organise meetings, appointments, and coordinate schedules for conveyancers.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in conveyancing.
- Familiarity with property law and conveyancing processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Transcribing digital dictation.
