We are working with a well-established law firm specializing in private client services, dedicated to providing exceptional legal support. Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Private Client Legal Secretary to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting our solicitors and ensuring the smooth operation of our private client department.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to solicitors in the private client department.
- Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and organize meetings.
- Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Handle client inquiries and maintain client files.
- Assist with the administration of estates, wills, trusts, and probate matters.
- Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and other third parties.
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and firm policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary, preferably in a private client department.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
