Job Description :

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join their Residential Conveyancing team. This role is ideal for a Legal Secretary with strong audio typing abilities, as the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team with various administrative and legal tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Residential Conveyancing team in all aspects of their work.
  • Accurately transcribe audio recordings, ensuring high-speed and precision in typing.
  • Draft, proofread, and amend legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and property-related paperwork.
  • Maintain and manage client files, ensuring all documents are organised and up to date.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, and third parties to arrange meetings and manage correspondence.
  • Handle administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and managing legal databases.

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Legal Secretary, preferably in Residential Conveyancing.
  • Highly skilled in audio typing, with excellent attention to detail and speed.
  • Strong understanding of the Residential Conveyancing process and related documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
