Job Title: Legal Secretary - Medical Negligence Team

Job Summary: We are recruiting for a well know law firm based in Leeds for a Secretary to join their Medical Negligence team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and format legal documents, including medical records, briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings with clients and medical professionals.
- Maintain and organise client files, both electronic and physical, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Conduct legal and medical research, gather relevant information, and assist in case preparation.
- Assist with billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Answer and direct phone calls, handle client inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
- File documents with courts and relevant medical boards or agencies.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with medical terminology and court procedures.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
