Key responsibilities of the Legal Secretary:

• Provide essential support to a pool of Fee Earners in specialized legal streams.
• Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and court bundles.
• Handle calls with clients and legal professionals in a professional and friendly manner.
• Coordinate appointments, meetings, and conferences with precision and efficiency.
• Assist with file management, including scanning, photocopying, and occasional filing tasks.
• Collaborate with secretaries and the administrative team to ensure seamless operations.
• Keep the Proclaim case management system updated to streamline case progress.    

Key requirements for the Legal Secretary:

• Proven experience as a Legal Secretary in OL/PL/RTA or CN.
• Excellent command of English spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• IT-savvy with strong word processing and audio typing skills (65+ wpm).
• Prior experience with digital dictation (e.g., Big Hand) is a bonus.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a professional, friendly telephone manner.
• Highly organized with acute attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the Proclaim case management system is desirable.
