Legal Secretary - TN Recruits : Job Details

You’ll provide vital support, ensuring the smooth flow of legal documentation and client communication.Day to Day: 

• Prepare and type legal documents from handwritten notes or digital dictation
• Manage files, including opening, closing, and maintaining records
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (scanning, emailing, and faxing)
• Organise meetings and manage Fee Earners' diaries
• Answer calls, take messages, and assist with new enquiries
• Support colleagues across the firm when needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a legal secretary role (Probate experience strongly preferred)
• Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Word (PowerPoint and Excel are a bonus!)
• Excellent telephone and communication skills
• A keen interest in legal matters and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• A well-organised, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Professional and smart appearance
