Overview: 

Thompsons invite you to join their community and work within the Legal Enquiries Team assisting with all new business enquiries. This is a rewarding role as you will be the first point of contact for our clients who are looking for assistance in helping them through what can be a difficult time.

Responsibilities: 

  • Use of the firm’s case management system ShareDo in accordance with set procedures
  • Act as the initial point of contact for new and existing clients, providing them with information and guidance on legal services.
  • Maintain and update client files and records, ensuring all information is accurate and easily accessible via Sharepoint
  • Assist in drafting and sending out legal correspondence, including letters, emails, and official documents and save these to OneDrive
  • Work collaboratively with legal staff to ensure that client communications are managed efficiently and effectively
  • Handle confidential information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion
  • Use the SOS Accounts system to process client invoices
  • Track and follow up on client cases to ensure deadlines are met and clients are kept informed of progress
  • Manage and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and other enquiries from clients, ensuring prompt and accurate responses 

What do they need from you?

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment is preferred.

Additional Information:

  • Salary - £21,771.46 per annum
  • Working hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:45am - 4:45pm and Friday from 8:45am - 4:15pm.
