Purpose of the Role

To provide support to the renewals and tenancy management team in the delivery of a high quality service for the benefit of clients and tenants. Working on a large Build to Rent portfolio, supporting both office and site based teams. The successful candidate will be a good team player with strong organisational and communication skills (both verbal and written), have the ability to work under pressure and a willingness to learn. A self-motivated individual, they will also be able to demonstrate reliability, flexibility and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the general tenancy administration of properties under the direction of the Portfolio Manager(s)
  • Deal with enquiries from tenants, contractors, utility providers, local authorities, etc
  • Following the tenancy journey from start to move in, including referencing of applicants, issuing Tenancy Agreements and ensuring full property compliance
  • Drafting and serving notices
  • Keeping up to date with changes to tenancy legislation
  • Working with the onsite teams to understand the local markets
  • Updating utility providers and local authorities of tenancy changes
  • Liaise with the property accounts team over any property queries where necessary
  • Undertake specific projects as requested by line manager

In addition to the tasks described above, the job holder may be required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous property experience in an administrative capacity
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with a positive attitude and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to multitask and to work accurately and effectively under pressure
  • Must understand the principles and practice of customer service
  • Ability to work in a team and understand team dynamics
  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office

Working Hours - Mon – Friday 9am to 5.30pm

Salary - £28-31K + 10% discretionary bonus
