As a leading independent Estate Agency we are currently looking for a Lettings Manager to join our Lettings Team. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established firm within a great team. The role requires an individual who is efficient, able to work to tight deadlines and with an excellent eye for detail.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lettings Manager to oversee our lettings department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong administrative background, ensuring the smooth operation of all lettings processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service. A multilingual ability is advantageous, as it will enhance our engagement with diverse clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lettings team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee the marketing of available properties, including conducting viewings and negotiating tenancy agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all lettings transactions and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to increase property occupancy rates.
  • Foster strong relationships with landlords and tenants, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about local property trends and competitor activities.
  • Organise and lead training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a lettings or property management role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Administrative proficiency, including experience with property management software.
  • Multilingual abilities are desirable but not essential.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • A valid driving licence may be required for property viewings.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
