Level 1 SOC Analyst - Network IT : Job Details

Role: Level 1 SOC AnalystLocation: Fully RemoteSalary: £32,500 + 15% Shift AllowanceWe at Network IT are looking for an exceptional Level 1 SOC Analyst to join a lucrative, growing organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is incredibly passionate and engaged with Cyber Security, who is looking for their first commercial role with significant training and progression opportunities.This role is shift based, initially a 7am until 7pm, 4 days on, 4 days off. You will then have opportunity later into the post to change this to a more standard Monday to Friday working pattern.This role is also fully remote, where you will need a space at home to perform your professional duties without disruption.RoleThe successful candidate in this role will straight away be put through an intensive, detailed training programme which at the end of, you will take the SC-200 – Security Operations Analyst Associate exam to gain the certification. Shortly afterwards, you will move to shadowing space to watch highly experience SOC Analysts.Our client is looking for someone who has an innate interest and excitement about Cyber Security, someone who has a fundamental understanding of the theory but also has some technical exposure of Cyber Security tools. For example, someone who is currently in a 1st Line support role whilst having either professional or personal experience with Cyber Security tools, would very much be of interest to our client.The reason for this is you will need to have an analytical mindset in how you approach IT and Cyber Security. Not someone who is reactive, but proactive in exploring environments to utilise their full potential and ensure high standards are met.
