Level 2 Nursery Practitioner

Position: Level 2 Nursery Practitioner/ Early Years PractitionerLocation: Preston, UKContract: Term-time only, 08:30am- 3:30pmSalary:£85 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our supportive team in a vibrant primary school setting in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a Level 2 or above Early Years or Childcare qualification who has a keen interest in working with young children and supporting their early education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Assist with the development of phonics and early literacy skills.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to enhance children’s learning experiences.
• Monitor children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and staff.

Requirements:

• Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Experience or understanding of phonics and the Early Years curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (valid and up-to-date).
• The right to work in the UK.
• Ability to provide professional references from previous employment.
• A positive attitude, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a term-time only position, with school hours from 08:30am to 3:30pm, providing a work-life balance ideal for those passionate about early childhood education. Pay is competitive, ranging from £85 to £100 per day, depending on experience.
