Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Tradewind Recruitment : Job Details

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in the Tameside area. This role focuses on working within Key Stage 1 (KS1), and we are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in phonics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Working one-on-one or in small groups with students to boost phonics and early literacy skills.
• Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
• Providing additional support to students who require extra help with their learning.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within KS1.
• Strong knowledge and experience with phonics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of young children.
