Level 3 Teaching Assistant- Salford

Tradewind Manchester are supporting a two-form entry Salford-based primary school in recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time role starting in September 2024, then following an initial period working on a temporary basis, this role could become permanent, and you may be offered a school contract.

This Level 3 Teaching Assistant would be required to aid pupils in Key Stage 1, including 121 support to enhance their learning development. To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record of supporting pupils who require developmental support, including academic interventions in reading/writing or maths; have strong language and literacy skills; be able to engage pupils and differentiate work according to academic levels; and a clear understanding of phonics.

Details of the Role:

• 8:15am-4:00pm
• Opportunity for a permanent contract after a temporary period of work

• Have a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
