  • Location: Worksop
  • Salary: £20 - £24p/hr
  • Contract: Full-Time, Contract
  • 37 hours per week

We are seeking a Library and Digital Lead to play a pivotal role in reimagining library spaces and supporting staff and learners in embracing new technologies.

About the Role

As Library and Digital Lead, you will lead a team dedicated to transforming the library into a dynamic digital and learning hub. You will:

  • Drive innovation in the use of technology for teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Support staff in developing digital skills to deliver a blended curriculum.
  • Empower learners to become independent, digitally confident, and prepared for the future workforce.
  • Manage library resources, ensuring accessibility to both physical and digital materials.
  • Collaborate with academic staff to provide tailored training and support for students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the campus Library and Digital team, ensuring they have the training and resources to excel.
  • Oversee the library service and manage the resource budget.
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions on digital literacy, study skills, and emerging technologies.
  • Work with the Deputy Head of Digital to ensure consistency and innovation in digital learning support.
  • Organise events such as learning lounges and showcase new digital resources.
  • Monitor the impact of training and support initiatives through feedback and data analysis.
  • Maintain and develop digital systems and resources, ensuring they are up to date.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in leading a team within a library, education, or customer service setting.
  • Knowledge of digital technologies and how they enhance learning.
  • Experience in delivering training and supporting learners to develop digital and independent learning skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence in using Google Workspace, Microsoft, and other learning technologies.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and diversity in an educational environment.
