Our client, a prestigious professional membership body, is looking for a Library Assistant to act as the first point of contact for customers/visitors, responding to queries, and undertaking photocopying/scanning responsibilities.
This is a role that will make the most of your effective people skills, offering a combination of reception and administrative responsibilities, with the additional need to move around slightly heavy items from time-to-time.
Candidates will need prior experience of working in a library. You will have experience of working in fast-paced professional environments, always offering first-class customer advice and support, and should be able to manage multiple demands on your time.
This is a full-time temporary role, based in Central London and with an immediate start for the successful candidate. It is expected to last for 2 months initially, with the possibility of an extension. There is also a longer-term vacancy in the team.
