My client is a market leading Estate Agent who are growing like no other. Due to their expansion there is a new role needed within the business for a Licensing Team Leader. This individual will be launching and building this department and overseeing all licensing requirements across this busy mixed use portfolio.

Licensing Team Leader Duties:
- Regulatory Expertise: Develop and indoctrinate into the team a deep understanding of local authority requirements for Mandatory HMO licenses, selective licensing, additional HMO licensing and S257 licenses.
- Compliance Management: Ensure our property portfolio is compliant with all licensing requirements and standards.
- New Business On boarding: Facilitate the integration of new properties into our portfolio, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements, along with supporting our Letting Teams with the same.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison with local authorities, building strong, collaborative relationships.
- Communication and Coordination: Engage effectively with tenants, landlords, and preferred contractors to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
- Quality Control: Monitor and assure the quality of work performed, ensuring adherence to licensing conditions.
- Reporting: Utilise our CRM system, Reapit, and the industry-leading Kamma Manager for accurate, real-time compliance management and reporting.
- Team Leadership: Lead the HMO and Licensing Team, collaborate closely with the Compliance Team and report directly to the Director of Property Management
Licensing Team Leader - experience needed:
- Passionate about the property industry and keen to join the fastest growing business in West & East Midlands.
- Must have previous experience in the industry, specifically in the HMO & licensing sector, although an accredited senior property manager will also be considered.
- A great communicator.
- Organised, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a busy office.
- Interested in developing an existing team, whilst preparing for significant growth
