Life Actuarial Requirement - R Development - Oliver James : Job Details

Oliver James is working with a major reinsurer who requires an experienced programmer to join their modelling team.

This is a day rate contract, you must be a UK tax resident and based in the UK to apply.

Start: ASAP, October

Duration: 3 month initial contract

Rate: Dependent on experience

Location: Home working contract

Requirements:

- Qualified or experienced Life or GI Actuaries - 5 years+ industry experience

- Strong R skills - ideally you will be able to build R packages. Similar languages (python) will be considered

- Experience in cashflow modelling, IFRS17 is desirable.
