Life Insurance Sales Advisors - The Recruitment Co : Job Details

The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting for Life Insurance Sales Advisors to join our clients team based in the Llansamlet area.

Salary: £25- £40k depending on experience + Performance Bonus + Annual Bonus for top performers. (1yr experience would start from £25k and 2yr+ experience would be a senior advisor role paying up to £40k basic)

Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 10am-7pm Contract: Permanent

Our client is expanding and looking for Life Insurance Sales Advisors with a proven track record in a sales environment to start immediately. The successful candidate will be joining an already established and successful sales team.

Role & responsibilities:

• You will receive a number of prequalified leads from potential customers to discuss their Life Insurance requirements. There is NO COLD CALLING
• You will discuss policy needs by undertaking a thorough fact find over the telephone, whilst always taking a consultative approach
• You will provide advice on regulated Life Insurance Products
• Convert leads into Sales
• You will be required to meet monthly KPIs
• You will be expected to identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling products to generate business and increase profitability
• Provide a valued service
• You will carry out some administrative duties but this is minimal as the client has an administrative team that offers full support

Skills/Experience/Behaviours Required:

• Previous experience working in a sales environment selling Life Insurance is essential
• A proven track record working within a target orientated environment
• Excellent customer service skills essential
• Excellent verbal communication skills as this is a telephone based role
• A positive attitude, determination and drive to succeed
• Drive and tenacity to meet and exceed targets
• CII Qualified or Insurance related qualification desirable but not essential
• Organised and able to work under pressure within a target driven environment
