We're seeking a dynamic and dedicated Commissioning Engineer to join the team, working on innovative lighting control systems across a variety of exciting projects.About the Role: As a Commissioning Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the advanced lighting control systems are flawlessly commissioned, maintained, and optimised. You’ll be responsible for both on-site and off-site commissioning, delivering exceptional aftercare services, and ensuring that the systems operate at peak performance.Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning & Maintenance: Oversee the commissioning, setup, and witnessing of lighting control systems. Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure high-level operation across various projects.
- Technical Expertise: Utilise your expertise in LonWorks network commissioning, DALI skills (addressing, fault-finding, network extension), IP network configuration, and software settings like grouping, scene control, and daylight regulation.
- Client Engagement: Offer training and technical advice to clients, ensuring they are confident in operating their systems. Provide prompt aftercare assistance and coordinate routine PPM works.
- Engineering Support: Prepare detailed scheme drawings, conduct IP networking, and assist with network design and fault-finding. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and backed up regularly.
- Health & Safety: Maintain relevant certifications, including CSCS accreditation and First Aid, ensuring all work complies with safety standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new Prolojik systems and equipment, suggesting upgrades and improvements to enhance system performance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Technical Proficiency: Possess strong experience with lighting control systems/smart lighting/ DALI/IP networking.
- Problem-Solver: You excel at troubleshooting and can quickly identify and resolve issues to keep systems running smoothly.
- Client-Focused: You’re comfortable interacting with clients and providing them with the best possible service and technical advice.
- Detail-Oriented: You take pride in your work, ensuring all documentation is precise and regularly updated.
