An international law firm is seeking a talented disputes associate (2-6 PQE) to join their growing London team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-value arbitration and litigation matters across commodities, maritime, and energy sectors, with an engaged and collaborative team.  The firm offers an excellent opportunity for associates to gain exposure to a broad range of legal sectors, including arbitration, commercial litigation, international trade, shipping, and commodities. As a smaller, boutique-style practice, the team operates in a highly collaborative and supportive environment, allowing associates to work directly with senior lawyers and partners, take on meaningful responsibility early, and develop a well-rounded skillset. The firm values initiative and teamwork, ensuring that contributions are visible and rewarded, with clear paths for career progression.  International secondment opportunities, both long and short term, are a key part of the firm’s offering, allowing lawyers to broaden their expertise and experience in key global markets. There are also opportunities to travel for client meetings and industry events. The firm is based near Holborn, with a flexible approach to office attendance, though regular in-person collaboration is encouraged.  The Ideal Candidate:• 2-5 PQE, currently at a leading London disputes practice.• Experience in arbitration, litigation, or disputes within marine, commodities, or energy sectors (preferred but not essential).• A strong legal thinker who enjoys tackling complex issues.• Ability to manage cases, work client-facing, and contribute strategically.• Excellent academics (2:1 or equivalent).• Qualified in England & Wales.This is an outstanding opportunity with work with true experts in their sector, get exposed to high quality international work, enhanced work-from home policy as well as a highly competitive salary (£100,000 - £130,000) and exctidtign international secondment opportunities.If you are interested in finding out more, reach out to / for a confidential consultation.
