An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigator (2+ PQE) to join a highly regarded and dynamic law firm. Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled litigator to handle a broad caseload of civil and/or commercial litigation matters, providing expert legal advice and representation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of civil and/or commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, property litigation, debt recovery, professional negligence, and contentious probate.
  • Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other court documents.
  • Handling pre-action negotiations, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and court proceedings.
  • Representing clients in mediation, settlement discussions, and court hearings where appropriate.
  • Providing clear and strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring excellent client service.
  • Managing case deadlines effectively and ensuring compliance with procedural rules and court timetables.
  • Assisting with business development and building strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in litigation.
  • Proven experience in handling a broad range of civil and/or commercial disputes.
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and case management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and legal research tools.
