A beautiful private estate in Devon seeks a professional and experienced Housekeeper to maintain the interior of the property to a high standard and look after the family during their visits. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently.Duties & Responsibilities• Maintain the interior of the property, including all cleaning and organisational tasks.• Laundry, including washing, ironing, and wardrobe management.• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers when necessary.• Ensure seasonal deep cleaning and special event preparations are carried out efficiently.• Liaising with the wider team, providing regular updates and acting as point of contact.• Overseeing the household team, planning rotas and tasksRequirements• Proven experience as a Housekeeper in a private household or similar setting.• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with the offsite team.• Strong IT skills including MS Office (Outlook diary management & Excel)• Ability to work independently with professionalism and discretion.• A full UK driving license due to location.• Based within a reasonable commuting distance.Days/Hours: Thursday to Monday 9am to 5:30pm (some flexibility depending on when the family are in residence)Salary: circa £35-45k gpa depending on experienceRef:SB1787
