As a self-employed live-in carer, you will provide essential support, ensuring clients feel safe, secure, and comfortable. You will work independently in their homes, managing daily routines, personal care, and companionship while respecting their dignity and preferences.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking experienced carers who are:

• Excellent communicators – Fluent in written and spoken English

• Skilled in home management – Confident in cooking, housekeeping, and running a household

• Adaptable and resilient – Able to manage demanding daily routines

• Reliable and professional – Able to work independently with various levels of client dependency

• A driving licence is desirable but not essential

Requirements

• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK

• Willingness to complete a DBS check

• Minimum of six months’ live-in care experience in the UK

• Self-employed status with references from a previous employer or client

Essential Training

Carers must hold or be willing to complete training in:

• Manual Handling

• Basic Life Support

• Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
