Loan Administrator - Reed : Job Details

Our client is looking for a Loans Administration officer to assist in the day-to-day running of all credit administration matters, ensuring that the Bank’s position is properly protected and that customer agreements are fulfilled. The role involves processing new accounts, updating existing client information, and closing accounts, with a focus on compliance and AML for account opening.

• Ensure compliance with terms and conditions in facility letters and proper security for credit lines.
• Accurately record limits, process drawdowns, rollovers, and payments on relevant systems.
• Administer charges, interest, fees, and loan reductions/repayments, and send interest advice to customers.
• Liaise with Relationship Managers and Assistant Relationship Managers on credit admin matters.
• Update and maintain loan databases, including commitments, drawdowns, rollovers, and repayment schedules.
• Prepare and manage credit facility and security documentation.
• Liaise with other departments, solicitors, accountants, and customers as necessary.
• Monitor and update client information in compliance with AML procedures.
• Support the streamlining of Compliance regulations and work closely with Front Office and Compliance departments.
• Prepare audit requests and manage quarterly management figures on account opening matters.

• Experience in credit administration within the banking or financial services sector.
• Familiarity with AML procedures and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in using banking systems and databases.
