We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for tackling complex data challenges. You will be apart of the Loans team and play a key role in a high-impact, data-centric project. You’ll work with massive datasets sourced from multiple financial systems, aiming to create actionable "data tapes" for seamless sharing with third parties and banks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Loans and Collateral teams to manage and transform a dataset comprising over 20,000 data points.

• Focus on merging data from finance systems across 10 resolution sites.

• Support projects involving diverse loan fields and products, including commercial and SME loans.

• Develop insights and dashboards using tools like Tableau and enhance the organization’s data analytical capabilities.

Key Requirements:

Domain Expertise:

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in securities or loans.

• Solid background in debt, equities, or clearing house environments (preferred).

• In-depth knowledge of collateral management, including Group Framework measures such as ILM, LCR, NSFR, and PRA110 (ideal).

• Familiarity with loan booking systems and financial platforms.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analysing large datasets.

• Experience with Tableau or similar reporting/visualization tools.

• Knowledge of Python programming (highly advantageous).

• Understanding of cloud technologies (preferably Google Cloud Platform) for managing data (ideal).

Data Focus:

• Expertise in handling big data, transforming datasets, and developing analytical dashboards.

• Ability to simplify complex data structures into actionable insights.

• Hands-on experience with MI platforms such as Tableau or Click.
