The volunteers and community team are looking for one person to join them on a fixed term basis, the local project manager in the Tyne and Wear area. You will be working to manage and implement the delivery of our place-based project. In the post, you will play a fundamental role by exploring golf’s opportunity to drive participation in under-represented groups by connecting with partners and potential collaborators within the region.
Applicants will ideally live within the Tyne and Wear region.
We’re looking for someone with:
A knowledge of golf would be advantageous but is not essential. What is more important is for the candidate to understand the diverse local communities with which we are looking to engage.
The post is full-time (Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm core hours) but you may be required to work weekends and evenings. There is an option for part-time hours. The position is home-based, although the successful candidate will be required to travel on a regular basis to meetings (valid driving licence and car ownership are essential). You will be entitled to travel and other expenses and will be expected to attend meetings and events at our headquarters at Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire.
