About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 8a Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team on a locum basis in Swansea. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in providing expert pharmaceutical advice to clinical teams within a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment. The position is ideal for a pharmacist with experience in cancer services looking to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced clinical pharmacy support and expert pharmaceutical advice to multidisciplinary clinical teams.

• Work closely with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medications.

• Lead on the review and development of cancer-related medication guidelines and protocols.

• Contribute to clinical decision-making regarding oncology and haematology treatment plans.

• Ensure the safe and effective management of cancer treatment regimens, including chemotherapy.

• Support the training and development of junior pharmacists and other healthcare staff as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Essential Experience: Previous experience working in cancer services (oncology/haematology) is required.

• Qualifications: Registered as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

• Skills: Strong clinical knowledge in cancer therapies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
