Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking for a fulfilling role in a supportive environment? We are seeking a full-time locum Occupational Therapist to join our team in Worcester for a four-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver specialist Occupational Therapy services aimed at enhancing independence for our clients and minimizing their reliance on carer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify options to improve client independence using a range of equipment and assistive technology.
• Implement manual handling techniques to support safe mobility and daily living activities.
• Provide training to clients and their families to promote skill development and confidence.
• Conduct early reviews of post-hospital discharge care packages to ensure effective resource use and foster independence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery and optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
