Job Description :
Do you currently work within a serviced environment or logistics? Have you got previous experience working in an administration role?  Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of logistics and maintenance services, based in Oxfordshire. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Logistics Administrator, on a full-time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday. The purpose of this role is to support with all aspects of administration, assisting the depot manager and liaising with the customers & engineers. The ideal candidate would have previous experience within an administrative role, with a desirable if you have worked within a service department previously. This is a great opportunity to be part of an established business with the chance for career development.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all administrative tasks within the service department are completed and kept updated on the system.
  • Assist with scheduling engineers’ diaries within designated areas.
  • Support with arranging attendance for an engineer to come out to a breakdown.
  • Ordering parts for urgent works.
  • Raise jobs for work carried out by the engineers and ensuring they are completed and kept up to date on the system.
  • Assisting the depot manager with any administrative tasks.
  • Answer the phone or emails, liaising with customers and employees.
  • Support team members and carry out any other ad-hoc duties as and when necessary.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience working in an administrative role.
  • Experience working in a service department, desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisation, and planning skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and with customers.
  • Good IT skills and confident using any computer equipment.
  • Analytical and logical problem-solving.
  • Be a great team player and be proactive in your approach to work.
Additional Information:
  • Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm.
  • Potential for over-time.
  • On-site parking.
  • Must have a UK driving license.
  • Pension scheme.
  • 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
