CORE FUNCTION
As a Logistics Administrator you are responsible for providing general administration support to the Logistics department including document management, data entry, record-keeping and reporting. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, regulatory agencies and suppliers on Logistics matters
KEY OBJECTIVES
- Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping
- Ensure compliance with regulations and policies
- Facilitate clear communication across internal and external stakeholders
- Provide Administrative support to Logistics Operations
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
MAIN DUTIES
- Documentation and Compliance, preparing and managing shipment documentation, invoices, and customs paperwork while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
- Communicating with vendors and suppliers updating tracking statuses
- Record-keeping, maintaining an accurate record of all documentation and in line with required standards
- Measure and track all deliveries.
- Update and maintain shipment status reports and relevant business systems
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirements
- Assist with the processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Support the logistics team with any ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Strong administration experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible approach required to support the business in peak times, willingness to learn and adaptable to change
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confidence working independently as well as in a team
DESIRABLE
- Working knowledge of Import and Export procedures
- Familiarity with UK and international logistics and customs regulations
