Logistics Coordinator - Reed : Job Details

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join the team of a large manufacturing and distibution company based in Durham. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our dispatch and customer support functions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Manage dispatch processes, including picking and packing, and issuance of certificates of conformity.
• Handle invoicing tasks such as generating advice notes, invoicing, and creating barcodes for shipping.
• Provide customer support by sending tracking numbers and invoices, arranging RMA, and organising purchasing collections.
• Liaise with transport companies for pricing, shipping queries, harmonised tariff queries, and customs queries.
• Oversee Health & Safety responsibilities, including risk assessments, H&S meeting minutes, inductions, first aid kits, COSHH paperwork, and record-keeping.
• Perform general duties such as maintaining holiday records, sales order checks, holiday cover, Kingfisher administration, and ad-hoc office duties.

• A proactive self-starter who can work effectively without constant supervision.
