Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an entry-level Operations Coordinator to join a well establish forwarder that offer a wide range of services to it customers. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills and a keen eye for detail. While no prior freight forwarding experience is required, the successful candidate will be expected to quickly learn the ropes and contribute to our operations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate and manage the logistics of freight operations, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor and track shipments, keeping customers informed of their status and any changes.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including shipping lines, transport companies, and warehouse staff, to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments, customs clearance, and other operational processes.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and issues effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and management.
