Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating Shipments: Manage the dispatch and delivery of goods, whether through personal drivers or third-party carriers.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock lists and oversee inventory audits.
- Problem-Solving: Analyse logistical issues and develop solutions to improve efficiency.
- Customer Service: Interface with customer service teams to manage orders and troubleshoot any issues.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations meet safety standards and comply with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed logistics documentation and reports.
- Cost Management: Monitor shipment costs and ensure they stay within budget.
- Communication: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Process Improvement: Implement new projects and strategies to enhance logistical efficiency.
Requirements
- A strong customer focus and a passion for building successful teams.
- Proven experience in managing processes and achieving KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence across all levels.
- 1 year of experience as a Logistics Coordinator.
- Great organisation and time management skills.
