Day to Day Duties
- Lead and manage Operations Coordinators for seamless goods pick-up and delivery
- Oversee relationships with carriers and logistics partners for cost-effective operations
- Manage third-party partners handling warehouse operations, ensuring high service standards
- Support Inventory Controllers to ensure accurate stock management and timely replenishments
- Monitor logistics partners' performance, ensuring SLA compliance and optimizing efficiency
- Implement strategies to improve logistics, reduce costs, and enhance supply chain performance
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to logistics partners and team members
- Analyze logistics data for improvements and cost savings
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations for organizational alignment
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics partners for optimal cost and quality
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Lead special projects and continuous improvement initiatives for logistics optimization
Essential Skills
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant experience
- Proven experience in managing logistics operations (inbound/outbound, warehousing, inventory)
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Solid understanding of import/export processes and customs regulations
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with a methodical approach to decision-making
Desirable Experience
- Experience in FMCG logistics management
- Ability to develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
