Children's Social Worker - Long Term Child Protection TeamWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Long Term Child Protection Team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of children who have experienced significant harm or are at ongoing risk, working closely with families to achieve positive and lasting change.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of children who require ongoing child protection support, providing regular assessments and interventions.
• Work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans, addressing their specific needs and promoting their safety and well-being.
• Offer practical and emotional support to children and families, building positive relationships and fostering a sense of trust.
• Prepare reports and attend court hearings related to child protection matters, advocating for the best interests of children.
• Work closely with other professionals, including police, health services, education providers, and other agencies, to ensure a coordinated response to safeguarding concerns.
• Champion the needs of children and families, ensuring they have access to appropriate services and support, and their voices are heard.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker: Must hold a relevant Social Work qualification (e.g. DipSW, BSc, MA) and be registered with Social Care England.
• DBS: On the update service
