- You will provide individual and small group support to students across a range of ages and needs, working closely with teachers to implement learning plans and strategies.
- You will be a key part of a team that fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
- You will assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe and productive learning space for all students, with a particular focus on supporting students with a range of SEN needs.
- You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including preparing learning materials, supporting students with their work, and providing individualised support, often using creative and engaging approaches.
Ideal candidate:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an SEN school setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and learning needs, particularly within a diverse and inclusive setting, with a proven ability to support students with a range of SEN needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development, with a commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
